París (Francia) Update:

Luis Enrique has insisted that the pressure of coaching a Champions League final feels the same no matter the team – whether it’s Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain.

From Barcelona to Paris

“There’s no difference. A final, just by being a final, brings enormous pressure – no matter which team you’re with,” said the PSG coach. Speaking after his side’s 4-1 win away at Montpellier, the former Barça boss was asked how preparing for the Champions League final with PSG compares to his experience with the Catalan club.

“There are so many factors surrounding the game that we’ve seen how finals can change constantly – not just in terms of the scoreline but in how emotions are handled. A final means the highest level, the highest tension. But in terms of pressure, it’s the same goal.”

El Clásico “easy” prediction

Luis Enrique, who will lead PSG into the final against Inter on May 31, was also asked about his connection to his old team. As he had earlier in the week, ahead of the semifinal clash with Arsenal, he made no attempt to hide his loyalty. “My love for Barça will never go away. I have a past I’m very proud of,” he said.

Now settled in Paris, the Gijón native still keeps a close eye on his former club – and when asked for a prediction for Sunday’s Clásico in Montjuïc, he didn’t hesitate. “3-0 for Barcelona – easy,” he said with a smile.
