Who is Giorgina Uzcategui, Ilia Topuria’s girlfriend?

Ilia Topuria makes his long-awaited return to the cage this weekend. He will take on Charles Oliveira (35-10-0) for the UFC lightweight title - the main event at UFC 317 which takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas later this evening.

El Matador’s last fight was back in October 2024 when he successfully defended his title at UFC 308, knocking out Max Holloway with a superb left hook that sent the American sprawling to the deck. And one of the first to come out to congratulate the Spanish-Georgian fighters was his girlfriend, Giorgina Uzcategui.

Giorgina Uzcategui Badell, to give her her full name, is not just Topuria’s girlfriend, she also the mother to their two children, a son born in 2019 and a daughter born this year.

Venezuelan-born Giorgina studied business administration at Miami Dade College and later earned a postgraduate degree from Suffolk University in Boston.

A successful entrepreneur and businesswoman in her own right, she founded the company Future & Energy, which aims to provide sustainable solutions to improve society.
