NBA Draft Lottery 2025: who is representing each team: Williamson, Olajuwon...
There are 13 teams sending representatives to the 2025 Draft Lottery in Chicago, each hoping to bag a prime spot in the all-important order.

The 2025 NBA Draft Lottery takes place tonight in Chicago, with one name on everyone’s lips. The fate of projected No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg is a matter of great importance for the league, with the Duke star tipped to be a transformative figure.
There are 14 teams that have a chance of bagging the first pick at the 2025 draft, but there are four that are the mathematical favorites. Utah, Washington, Charlotte and New Orleans each have a 14% chance to taking the No. 1 pick.
The order will be revealed at Monday’s ceremony. It’s not as big a spectacle as the draft itself, but there will be some big names making an appearance in Chicago, with 13 teams sending representatives to the show. Here’s a look...

Those 14 teams will also be represented by a ball that is placed into a drum and numbered 1 to 14. The draw will be done using those balls, with 1,001 different order combinations possible.
Beyond the 14 teams taking part in the Draft Lottery, the order for picks 15-60 will be decided by the team’s regular season record. The better 2024/25 performance, the lower in the drafting order the team will find itself. The same is true in the second round of picks.
The action will get underway at 7pm Eastern Time on Monday, 12 May. What happens will have major consequences for the future of the lucky teams who find themselves first in the queue on draft day.
