The PC version of GTA 6 has not been announced, but a major accessories company believes it knows when it will be released
The game will be released this year on PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles.

Rockstar Games is still working on GTA 6, which will be released sometime in 2025 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PS5. True to the studio’s style, the developer will focus on the console version first, while the PC version will come some time later, although the announcement statement doesn’t even mention it. We still don’t know the exact release date on PlayStation and Xbox, but the peripheral company Corsair has jumped into the pool and said when they think it could be released. It was verbalized by Ronald van Veen, an executive of the company.
“Yeah, GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about. And we’ll get a glimpse of that, I think, later on in the year for console. My understanding now it’s going to come out in the fall for console, and then early 2026 for PC.”

PC, a growing market
Rockstar Games' last big game, Red Dead Redemption 2, took a full year to come out on PC, but Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, acknowledged that the platform is in a stronger position than before. “We have seen PC become a much more and more important part of what used to be a console business, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see that trend continue. Of course, there will be a new console generation,” he told in an interview.
The latest leaks suggest that GTA 6 will have a system similar to Roblox or Fortnite for content creation by the player community.
