Tarantino could never stand Steven Spielberg’s masterpiece that everyone fell in love with: “Such a boring one”

This is the Steven Spielberg film that Tarantino doesn’t like, who claimed it’s “such a boring one.”

To talk about ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’ is to talk about one of the most acclaimed adventure films in living memory. Almost everyone likes the film that Steven Spielberg directed in 1989, but there is one very famous figure in the film industry who never quite liked it: none other than Quentin Tarantino.

That’s right, the charismatic filmmaker, author of films like ‘Reservoir Dogs’ and ‘Pulp Fiction’, made it clear some time ago that ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’ seems to him the worst installment of the saga. In fact, his statement was so forceful that there could be little doubt about it: “I like ‘[Kingdom of the] Crystal Skull’, more than the Sean Connery one [‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’]. I don’t like the Sean Connery one at all. [That’s such a boring one. It’s boring. And he’s not an interesting character.

It certainly doesn’t seem to have added too many crew members to its ship, as ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ is by far the worst-rated of the franchise.
