Sony has kept a promise with PS Plus, although it’s still far behind Microsoft
Blue Prince and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage headline the arrival of day one releases on PlayStation Plus Extra in April, fulfilling a long-awaited promise from Sony.

The situation at PlayStation has been constantly changing over the last few years. Sony decided to restructure its subscription service, PlayStation Plus, adding 3 different versions and at the same time thanking the PS Now service. Along with these adjustments, it launched a promise, and with proportion keeps, approaching what Xbox does with Game Pass, releasing launch games to its service in the Extra and Premium tiers, although of course with restrictions and not including its first party titles.
A few months after these changes, April arrives with an interesting selection of games. Not only does the arrival of Hogwarts Legacy, one of the best-selling titles of recent years, stand out, but also two titles that not only arrive at launch but also offer interesting proposals without the need to be AAA titles.
Two interesting games are coming to PS Plus
The second part of Lost Records: Boom & Rage, as well as the acclaimed and Shuhei Yoshida’s favorite, Blue Prince. While these are not the most anticipated titles, they are experiences that players can try from day one by subscribing to the service, giving them the opportunity to enjoy a new title and try new experiences, just like Xbox players with Game Pass.
PlayStation needs to maintain its catalog with interesting games that arrive at launch and fresh experiences that subscribers can enjoy as soon as they are released. Seeing this duo arrive in April is good news for subscribers, and let’s hope PlayStation continues this trend in the future. Yet, with the recent hike on the subscription price... things are let to be seen.
