Santa Monica Studios confirms the date of the God of War 20th anniversary, in which they could make new announcements
An event to celebrate the franchise.

Santa Monica Studios has officially announced the date of its long-awaited event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iconic God of War saga. The event will take place on March 15 at the Nucleus Art Gallery in the United States.
This special event will feature the presence of developers who have worked on the franchise over the years, offering attendees the opportunity to get new details about the past and present of the series, as well as access to autograph signings.
Although official statements have been cautious, limiting themselves to confirming that it will be a space to honor the franchise’s legacy, rumors about possible announcements have not ceased to circulate. Among the most prominent speculations is the possible remastering of the original God of War trilogy, which would be a good way to revisit the origins of one of Sony’s most important franchises.
However, the most important thing as far as Sony Santa Monica is concerned is its new big project, which we know will not be a new God of War, although there is no official confirmation. All that has transpired behind the scenes is that it will be the next work of Cory Balrog, his “reward” for having successfully guided the God of War franchise to a new stage. It is also known that it will be a new sci-fi IP, a setting uncovered by the very teasers that the director has left on networks. Duncan Jones, the director of ‘Warcraft’ and ‘Moon’ said he had been able to see the script of this new project, saying: “If you thought God of War is the magnum opus of Cory Balrog, think again”. It’s time to wait.
