Mafia: The Old Country will arrive at a reduced price: date, trailer and new details of the saga’s return
Take-Two unveils all the details of its bet on the saga living in the shadow of GTA 6.

Take-Two has not had an easy May. The delay of GTA 6 was a blow to its fans. However, the surprise release of its second trailer has lifted spirits quite a bit. Something similar happened today with Mafia: The Old Country. The new installment of the series announced important news at PAX East. This trip to 20th-century Sicily will make the wait for Rockstar’s game more pleasant.

All the details of Mafia: The Old Country have been confirmed, and here is its brutal trailer
First, let’s discuss the price. Mafia: The Old Country will be available for $49.99. At a time when price increases are the norm, the publisher of GTA 6 has decided to lower the usual price for this generation. Surprising.
Its release date has been confirmed: August 8 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). Along with the standard edition, a deluxe version will be put on sale that includes numerous armaments for our character, a digital art book, and other customization packs.

Developed on Unreal Engine 5, the game is a milestone in the saga, offering cutting-edge graphics and technical features that meet the expectations of a generation heading into its fifth year. Loyalty, honor and obedience: these are the qualities of Enzo, the protagonist, who will have to survive in the brutal world of the Sicilian mafia in the 1900s.
“We think there’s a large audience for compelling stories that don’t require massive time commitments,” said 2K President David Ismailer. “We’re excited to offer a game like Mafia: The Old Country in our portfolio, and to provide a linear highly-polished narrative experience that can easily complement the other more persistent games our players also love and engage with on a more consistent basis.”
