Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves announces game’s DLC characters
SNK was busy expanding the roster during the EVO Awards.
After a long wait, SNK has revealed the new characters that will appear in its upcoming fighting game, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. From characters joining the roster at launch to those included in Season Pass 1, this mix of old favorites and new additions was unveiled tonight at the EVO Awards.
City of the Wolves Season Pass 1 revealed
A trailer has revealed that Andy Bogard and Joe Higashi from the Fatal Fury franchise, as well as Mr. Big from Art of Fighting, will be among the characters arriving in 2025 and 2026 in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. It’s going to be quite the crossover, and when the beloved Mai Shiranui recently made the jump to Street Fighter, it’s only right that characters from Capcom’s franchise make the jump as well. Street Fighter’s Ken and Chun Li are also included in the Battle Pass. You can check out the announcement trailer below:
Kain R. Heinlein joins cast and will be part of open beta
After the announcement of the DLC characters, it has been announced that Kain R. Heinlein will be joining the Open Beta. The former final boss of Garou: Mark of the Wolves returns to rescue his older sister Marie along with his nephew Rock Howard.
In addition to his presentation, it was revealed that Kain will be one of the 8 characters appearing in the Open Beta along with Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Hotaru Futaba, B. Jenet, Vox Reaper, Mai Shiranui and Preecha. The Open Beta will start on February 20th.
When will Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves be released?
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is scheduled to be officially released on April 24, 2025. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
